The AirMedic Pro 6 Ultra Air Purifier is designed to treat heavier concentrations of chemicals and odors. The "Ultra" option offers an extra-large, 5" activated carbon filter for enhanced adsorption of airborne toxins, a Super HEPA filter for particles and quick change pre-filter.

    Lifesaver

    I have severe reactions to things like fragrances (which are in all sorts of products), cleaning supplies, smoke, bleach, and other chemicals. HEPA doesn't get this stuff. This machine with its 33lbs of carbon filtration has been a lifesaver. Call to talk to one of the tech people about their over 40 blends of carbon filters. The guy I spoke with was great. Best purchase I ever made, and I bought a second smaller purifier later on.. Then I bought their mobile air purifier for my car.

    Awesome air purifier

    Awesome air purifier, built like a tank. Way better than the normal cheap plastic ones, and worth every penny more.

    It's working great

    It's working great so far. I got it mainly to help stop cooking odors from spreading through my entire house and it does a pretty good job. I can't speak to its ability to reduce dust yet.
    The only cons: It was a little bit difficult to "assemble" and install the filter (wish the screws were a little bigger), but I am weak and have weak hands so it might not be a problem for most. As expected, it's noisy to run. I have to turn it off or put it on lowest setting if I get a phone call. Also, on low it emits a sort of high pitched sound, almost like what I hear when my one ear's Tinnitus flares. It's not always noticeable, but annoying when I do hear it. Overall, those are small inconveniences compared to how well it works to clean the air in my home.
