Product of the Month: AirMedic Pro 6 Plus Vocarb Air Purifier

The AllerAir AirMedic Pro 6 Plus Vocarb air purifier is the flag ship model of the legacy 6000 series Air Purifier, formerly known as the 6000 D Vocarb unit. The AirMedic Pro 6 Plus is based on the same design, with modifications done to the design to increase filtration capacity, along with a new stronger 560 CFM motor. The Pro 6 Plus air cleaner exceeds results from our legacy 6000 series air purifiers (400 CFM). The Pro 6 Plus air purifier uses the same replacement filters as the AllerAir 6000 D series air purifiers.

The Pro 6 series air purifiers are a taller unit, which has a taller carbon filter, along with a strong 560 CFM motor/blower, the Pro 6 Plus air purifier can filter up to 2000 Sq Ft providing 2 ACH (Air Changes per Hour). All the Pro 6 series units were upgraded with 2 air exhaust louvers. the legacy 6000 air purifiers had 1 louver and 400 CFM motor.

 Virgin Activated Carbon

Activated Carbon is the most effective and widely used filter media for VOCs, airborne chemicals, Gases, and odors.

Activated Carbon is also the most cost-effective solution meeting environmental regulations in manufacturing and commercial environments. "Mechanical based" air purifiers using activated carbon is the safest and most effective way to filter the air of airborne contaminants such as VOCs, chemicals, and fumes.

All AllerAir Air Purifiers and Industrial Air Scrubbers are "Mechanical Based" air purifiers. Air Cleaners that are HEPA only, or HEPA Like units, Ionizers, PICO Technology are not safe for human / animal consumption, and studies have shown, that it is considered a health hazard.

AllerAir's "Vocarb' carbon is an all organic carbon blend that has no chemical additives to the carbon. The Vocarb carbon is very effective at filtering a wide range of VOCs, fumes, and chemicals, such as Formaldehyde, Benzene, Toulene, and many other VOCs.

AllerAir only uses Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) or Pelletized Activated Carbon (PAC).

AllerAir does not use Activated Carbon Powder, or carbon dust, which is low grade and low qualty carbon. 

AllerAir does not use any type of carbon that is sprayed onto filter media with an adhesive. This is not effective carbon at all, and adding an "Adhesive" or spray carbon powder to filter media goes against our commitment of providing Premium Quality Virgin Activated Carbon.
