AirMedic Pro 6 Ultra Air Purifier

We purchased the AirMedic Pro 6 Ultra UV Air Purifier classic and we have been blown away at the results. After we received it we put it together, per the instructions. Very clear and easy to understand. Turned it on in our living room area and bedroom. Within 20 minutes we could actually FEEL the difference. It was like a breath of fresh air in our rooms. My husband and I were sitting there watching TV and both commented how the air is changing and it feels so awesome. We never realized how bad it was until we put the purifier on. We use to have a Blueair and it shorted out after 8 years and so we switched to this one. This one by far surpasses anything we ever purchased. We are quite pleased with our purchase. The initial cost is expensive but the annual upkeep on the filters is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than we paid on the Blueair. We use to pay $900 a year on filters and now under averaging under $50 a year. Blown away at the difference. We made the right choice in selecting this purifier. Our noses are not running, our sinuses are clear and it feels so awesome!!!! You get use to the chemtrails and stuff in the air that you forget how it actually feels to breathe in truly FRESH clean air. This unit is SOLID metal and what we love about it is we can open it up and vacuum inside and outside and keep it clean. The blueair got really dusty inside and you could not take it apart to get inside the unit to vacuum it out. This purifier is like a tank, well made. On low the unit isn't as quiet as we had hopped but it's not bad at all. We had hoped we wouldn't hear it at all but you can hear a very low sound from it. We turn it up at night when we are sleeping then during the day turn it down to the lowest setting and it works perfectly. Highly recommend it.

As hoped, the large size and metal construction of the unit pushes motor and fan noise down into the low frequencies where it isn't bothersome when run at the low speeds recommended for longer dwell time. With SuperHEPA and VOCARB, air flow seems modest (it's pulling through the mother of all filter packs), but it certainly does scrub VOC and other odors while pulling out fine particulates. The air-quality difference is very obvious, and that's what matters.

I'm running this in tandem with a quiet, high-CFM, MIRV-13 Corsi-Rosenthal design that pulls a lot of particulates out of the air quickly. This combination works very well: the CR box extends the medium-particle reach of the AirMedic, and the AirMedic, with its robust carbon, H14 HEPA, and UV, soaks up the remaining fine particulates, biologicals, and VOCs. AllerAir makes our (otherwise problematical) space healthy and pleasant!

This unit has saved our sanity and health while we battle on going water intrusion issues due to builder defects in our new home. We can now wake up free from congested and irritated from the VOC and mildew smell that was wrecking our health. Highly recommend if you need a professional level unit to address serious air quality issues in your space.
